Winemaking
This Merlot is like that 14-year-old cattle dog that seems to sleep most of the time but suddenly comes alive when they hear a whistle or see you put on "those shoes". You didn't think they could still move that way and it delights you to see them doing what they are born to do even after all these years! They might not be able to go as long as they used to but it makes you all warm and fuzzy to see that side of them again. They might not be with you forever, but the memories will.
Oh wait, we were talking about Merlot....
Food Pairing
Sip with your pressure-cooked bean soup or that herb-crusted pork loin dinner with the in-laws. Dressed up or down, our merlot is complex enough that food pairing can be as simple as opening the bottle.
