100% Skyline Vineyards Chardonnay. Crisp jonagold apple and hints of anjou pear. Aromas of apple tarts and maybe even something as decadent as apple cake. This wine is swift and dynamic, like entering 5 mile canyon on the Bruneau River. It is a classic Champagne-style sparkling wine.

There are over 3,100 whitewater miles in Idaho. Our story started on the Middle Fork of the Salmon and became entrenched in sparkling wines on the pools and drop rapids of Hells Canyon. We believe in Idaho's water, soils, and farmers; so we work with varieties grow well here. Gewurztraminer isn't a common variety made into sparkling wine, but it makes delicious bubbly! Here's to traversing your favorite pool and drop rapids, even if it isn't on the river!

Sometimes you get to go down a stretch of river for the very first time, that is an "initial descent." We don't know of very many sparkling rosé Malbecs, so we think this could be an initial descent for many of the enjoyers of these bubbles. (Also our oldest kiddo painted the watercolor we ended up using for the background of the label on this wine; initial descent being our theme for this wine, we like that he was the one that created the art.)
