Nose
This blend is bursting with aromas of fruit, black currant and blueberry from the Petite Sirah, with black cherry notes from the Cabernet. Vanilla, black pepper and some spicy, herbal hints round out the nose.
Palate
Fruit flavors match the aromas, adding bright acidity and big, lush tannins to the mouthfeel and a lingering cedar and spice finish.
Growing Conditions
2018 was a great growing season with bud break mid-April and a season in gradient temperature climbs providing exceptional ripening conditions.
