Palate
This full-bodied Tempranillo starts with the intense color of dark garnet. After fermentation, it was aged 18 months in new American Oak. While aging the wine picked up the primary aromas of baking spices and white pepper with hints of woodsmoke. The flavors are layered, starting with blackberries, plums, anise, and vanilla. The well integrated tannins help to leave flavors of tobacco, leather, and cloves lingering on the palate.
