Palate

The wine is full-bodied with medium tannins that linger after the last sip.

Growing Conditions

The 2021 growing season was quite memorable. It was hot and dry, which made it challenging to grow wine grapes. Harvesting started two weeks earlier than usual and was completed by October 1st.

Food Pairing

Mushrooms, hard cheeses, potato gratin, flank steak – Bordeaux-style blends handle big flavors, fat, and proteins superbly. We find it’s a favorite match for homemade anchovy pizza.
