Nose

This wine has a fruity aroma of raspberry, cherry, and bell pepper.

Palate

Twin Nouveau has a taste that combines raspberry and earthy flavors. It has a lighter body and lower tannin content than its more aged counterparts.

Growing Conditions

The 2022 vintage was notable for its delayed bud-break, cooler temperatures, and a late and extended harvest. In contrast to the 2021 vintage, which was brief and concluded by October 1st, the 2022 harvest began in late September and continued through November. The slow ripening process, paired with cool evenings and heavy fruit loads, allowed the flavors of each varietal to fully mature.

Food Pairing

As the wine ages, its tannin structure strengthens, changing its food pairings. In its youth, pair it with a Bolognese; as it evolves, earthy mushroom or red meat dishes pair well.
